On 13rd May 2024, the academic lecture "The Influence of Delayed Citation in Interdisciplinary Research" was successfully held. The lecture co-sponsored by the Journal of Data and Information Science (JDIS), the Literature Group of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Information Resource Management Department of School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Prof. Wang Yang, from the School of Public Policy and Management, Xi'an Jiaotong University, specializes in research on science and technology policy, innovation, public policy, and network science.
Interdisciplinary research plays a crucial role in driving future scientific breakthroughs. Prof. Wang Yang presented and discussed his relevant research design and findings in great detail during the lecture. After the lecture, researchers and postgraduate students engaged in a lively discussion with Prof. Wang Yang, actively posing questions and exchanging ideas. The lectures were attended by over 120 researchers and postgraduates, either in person or virtually.
