On October 31, 2023, Zhao Xichen, director of Library of Macau University of Science and Technology and 3 librarians visited National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences(NSLC).
Zhao Xichen and her colleagues saw the exhibitions of innovative achievements of CAS, the history exhibition of NSLC and "Science Marks - Ancient Rare Collections Exhibition", and observed the collection of precious documents on the theme of Macao.
Directors of the two libraries discussed about bilateral cooperation. They exchanged views on services, ancient rare collections, science communication and other issues. And they discussed about cooperation in research and academic exchanges, organizing scientific and cultural exchange activities, research and development of ancient rare collections and exchange visits of librarians.
