The 2022 Online International Training Program "Opensource Methods, Technology, and Tools for Organizing Scientific Information" was successfully held

On 10-12 December 2022, the 2022 Online International Training Program "Opensource Methods, Technology, and Tools for Organizing Scientific Information" was successfully held by the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing, China (“NSLC”) and Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, USA (“SU”)  .
Online International Training Program provided by Syracuse University School of Information Studies faculty to enhance the knowledge and skills in applying big data, AI, and data mining techniques for all participants through the training program. Participants include data scientists, librarians, researchers, and other staff members who are engaged in scientific data management, scientific information and knowledge organization, and data mining within the library system and research teams of Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). 
Themes and topics include: Information visualization -- opensource tools and technologies in information visualization, how information visualization supports smart data and decision making; advanced big data management -- opensource tools and applications in data mining and management, design and architecture of big data management platforms; Cloud computing -- research and development of opensource cloud computing and platforms, opensource cloud computing projects/cases and communities in platform applications. Online, real time (3 lectures); video recording (3 lectures).
