The expansive model of scientific and technological literature, known as the Spark Research Assistant, is an intelligent knowledge service platform. This platform was collaboratively developed by National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC) and iFLYTEK Co., Ltd. It utilizes scientific literature resources to offer three primary research assistant functions: achievement research, paper reading, and academic writing. The platform was launched to the public on October 24, 2023, and is currently accessible to users of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
NSLC has established a dedicated research assistant service team to facilitate the application of Spark Research Assistant, a comprehensive model for scientific and technological literature within the academy. The vertical field model of scientific and technological literature, along with its application, has been successfully recognized as one of the top ten pioneering cases of artificial intelligence within the Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA) in 2023. The Spark Research Assistant is a typical industry application practice characterized by high value, benchmarking, and practical implementation.
