On June 15, 2023, Neil Parsanlal, the Chairman of the Board of the National Library and Information System Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS) visited National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC).
According to the schedule, Neil Pasanlal saw the history exhibition of NSLC and the "Science Marks - Ancient Rare Collections Exhibition", and visited the reading area on the third and fourth floors. The librarian of NSLC introduced general situation , collections and features of the library. Neil Pasanlar introduced the basic national conditions of Trinidad and Tobago, the development of the NALIS, and the main cases of friendly cooperation between the two countries in recent years. The two sides exchanged views on collection development, library services and professionals training. Neil Pasanlal expressed appreciation for the professional work of NSLC and he hoped to send staff to NSLC to learn library construction concepts and experiences.
