Collection & Knowledge Organization Center has the following duties:
1.Acquisitions,organization and managementof literature resources, initiating thelicensing negotiations  and managementforCAS(Chinese Academy of Sciences)E-resourcesConsortia;
2.Organization, operation and maintenance of open access(OA) resources and self-developed databases and platforms;
3.Development of knowledge organization platforms and knowledge processing of literature resources.

The center consists of five teams, namely, Knowledge Resource Supply Planning &Coordination Team, Commercial Resource Acquisitions &Cataloguing Service Team, OAResource Development & Service Team, Knowledge Organization & Service Team and Scientific Measurement Team. The Department is affiliated to CAS Distributed Knowledge Resource Organization Center and undertakes its operation.
